The three-day, 54-hole event will take place at the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C., from March 4-6.
This will be the Crimson Tide’s 12th appearance at the tournament, showcasing their consistent competitiveness in the field of women’s collegiate golf. The team will kick off the event teeing off on Monday morning at 8:20 a.m. CT, alongside Ohio State on hole No. 1. Golf enthusiasts can catch live coverage of the tournament on the Golf Channel from March 4-6, airing from 1:30-4:30 p.m. CT each day.
The Alabama roster for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate will include standout players such as Sarah Edwards, Taylor Kehoe, Elina Sinz, Kaitlyn Schroeder, and Mattie Frick. Additionally, Harriet Lockley will participate in the event as an individual competitor. Sarah Edwards, leading the pack with an impressive 71.40 overall stroke average and a -0.60 average vs. par, will be a key player to watch during the tournament.
Taylor Kehoe, Elina Sinz, Kaitlyn Schroeder, and Mattie Frick bring their own strengths to the lineup, showcasing the depth and talent of the Alabama women’s golf team.
The tournament will follow a five-count-four stroke play format, providing an exciting and competitive atmosphere for the participating teams. Alongside Alabama, the field will include powerhouse programs from the SEC such as Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, and Vanderbilt, among others. Teams like Arizona State, Duke, Oregon, and Texas will also challenge the Crimson Tide for the top honors.
