Missing Teen found unharmed
Beaufort County, SC. – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office announced earlier today that Ava Brewer, a 15-year-old who was reported missing, has been located. She is safe and unharmed, much to the relief of her worried family and the community.
Ava Brewer was originally reported missing from her home on Daufuskie Island on Sunday. She was seen disembarking the Haig Point ferry around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Hilton Head Island.
Concern over well-being
Before her safe recovery, Brewer’s possible company with acquaintances and subsequent disappearance had led to concerns for her safety. This worry spurred local law enforcement to immediately launch an intensive search, treating her disappearance as a significant cause for concern.
Description of the missing girl
The 15-year-old was described as five feet, two inches tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. Brewer has brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a coral-colored sweatshirt with ‘Colorado’ written on the front, alongside gray and black spandex shorts, and white Nike Air Force shoes.
