Entrepreneurs in Savannah, Georgia, have an exciting opportunity to receive personalized business coaching and possibly connect with investors. The City of Savannah, in partnership with the non-profit organization Creative Coast, has opened applications for their transformative program called Launch Savannah.
The objective of Launch Savannah is to assist emerging entrepreneurs in moving their business ideas from concept to reality by providing in-depth, tailored coaching over a 12-week duration. “Applicants can begin the process of turning their concepts into viable startups right here in this program,” according to the Executive Director of Creative Coast, Nick Palumbo.
The program anticipates accommodating 15 dedicated individuals who will receive face-to-face professional guidance pertinent to their business industry. Palumbo believes that learning from seasoned professionals who have been through similar paths can be highly beneficial to new business owners.
The most striking aspect of the Launch Savannah program is its cost-effectiveness. The program is free of charge, with the only commitment required from the participants being their time. The coaching sessions are scheduled for two hours per week.
Besides gaining industry-specific knowledge and guidance, the participants might also have a unique chance to secure funding for their businesses. This potential funding could simultaneously benefit the business itself and the broader Savannah community. “At the end of the 12-week period, the participating businesses will have the opportunity to present their ideas to angel investors, offering an opportunity for investment right in our community”, commented Palumbo.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 17th. Interested individuals can apply online for this life-changing opportunity to accelerate their entrepreneurial journey and contribute to the Savannah business ecosystem.
Launch Savannah promises to not only propel individual businesses but also to enrich Savannah’s overall entrepreneurial landscape. By providing support to startups and encouraging investment within the community, the program hopes to stimulate economic growth and innovation within the region.
The exceptional offering of personalized coaching, networking opportunities with industry professionals, and potentially securing investment implies that the selected 15 participants will finish the program with not just a startup, but a small business ready to thrive in the local marketplace.
