The advisory was initiated due to a water main break linked to construction at the intersection of Ogeechee Road and Stiles Avenue, affecting around 25 households. During the advisory, residents were instructed to boil water for safety, but lab tests have confirmed water quality is safe, prompting the city’s commitment to public health and safety.

The advisory was implemented on the evening of March 21 due to a water main break resulting from ongoing construction at the intersection of Ogeechee Road and Stiles Avenue. Approximately 25 households were affected, specifically along the stretch between Dawes Avenue and Stiles Avenue.
