A Longstanding Mission
The P.E.O. Sisterhood, founded back in 1869, is a women’s organization committed to fostering educational opportunities for women. They strive to uplift and empower women through scholarships, grants, and even the stewardship of Cottey College, a private liberal arts institution. The mission of P.E.O. is clear: to celebrate the advancement of women and provide both financial and moral support to help them reach their full potential.
Local chapter AM has been actively involved in the community, providing scholarships to local high school women and sponsoring international female students studying in South Carolina. By attending the symposium, participants are contributing to this noble mission and making a difference in the lives of many young women!
