Justin Timberlake Cancels South Carolina Concert

Columbia, South Carolina

The much-awaited performance of Justin Timberlake in Columbia next month has been formally annulled, according to the Ticketmaster event page. Timberlake was due to ignite the stage on June 8 at the much-hyped Colonial Life Arena. The concert was part of the Grammy award winner’s grand “The Forget Tomorrow” world tour. Much to the disappointment of fans, the announcement furnished no logical reason behind this abrupt decision and prompted a wave of speculations.

Pop Star Goes Silent on Cancellation

Adding to the intrigue, no comment or explanation was issued by both Live Nation or the acclaimed pop singer himself. The ticket holders of this event can anticipate refunds via point of purchase.

The Columbia show was situated strategically between shows in Tulsa and Atlanta. On his voyage, the “Cry Me A River” crooner plans to enkindle stages in multiple locations like Phoenix, Chicago, Baltimore, Toronto, and Raleigh.

An Eventful Year for Timberlake

Earlier this year, Timberlake astonished his fans by unveiling more dates on his world tour – his first in half a decade. As per the statement released, the first 21 performances of Timberlake’s tour were sold out shortly after they went on sale. The initial 30 shows amassed over 350,000 tickets.

Timberlake’s New Music Endeavour

In recent news, Timberlake caught the public eye when he reunited with his former boy band, *NSYNC, for the first time in a decade with their new song “Better Place.” With this tour, he aims to promote his latest album 2024’s Everything I Thought It Was. The follow-up to his 2018 album Man of the Woods, the latest record boasts hits like “Selfish” and “No Angels.”
