Prior to his promotion, Summerell filled the Vice President, Commercial Banker position since joining Colony Bank in 2018. With almost 20 years’ worth of experience in the financial services industry, his areas of specialization encompass commercial banking, management, and financial planning. He completed his high school education at Savannah Country Day School and later graduated from the College of Charleston in 2002, majoring in Political Science.
