Included in the 30-strong artist roster are big names like LoCash, Jeffrey Steele, and Earl Bud Lee. As per Natalie Harvey, the community’s director of Cultural Affairs, there’s a little something for everyone during the festival.

In her words, “We are having events at eight different venues. They range in size from the Jazz Corner for an intimate evening with dinner to the Liberty Oak out at Harbor Town.”

The festival aims to foster not only an entertaining environment, but also to enhance the community spirit among local residents and visitors. “Summer is really winding up here on Hilton Head Island, and September is a great time to be here”, Harvey asserted, emphasizing the importance of leisure and connection during the fall season. “It’s also a great opportunity for our island residents to get back out and reconnect with one another after a really busy summer.”

She further added, “We kind of look at this songwriter’s festival as being the first of many great events that builds our community here on Hilton Head.” The Island Jam is a unique platform for artists to share their talents and express their love for music, and for listeners to discover new artists and music genres.
