Exciting Events Coming to Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton Counties!

Hey there, folks! If you’re in or around Hampton, you’re in for a treat this December! The Hampton County Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Hampton are gearing up to kick off the holiday season with their much-anticipated Hometown Christmas event! Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Holiday Cheer with a Parade!

The evening will get started with a delightful parade that kicks off at the parking lot of the Hampton Piggly Wiggly. The parade will roll down Elm Street, make a right turn onto Lee Avenue, and then a left on Magnolia Street. So grab your family, invite friends, and find a good spot to catch all the festive fun!

Sweets, Treats, and Santa!

Once the parade wraps up, everyone will gather at the Hampton Gazebo for some delicious cookies and milk. This is the perfect time for the kids to meet Santa and Mrs. Santa. Not only will it be a fantastic photo opportunity, but there will be 🎶 Christmas music 🎶 to set the mood, too! And don’t miss the moment when Hampton Mayor Robert Brown lights the official Christmas tree — it’s sure to be a magical sight!

Honoring Our Heroes: Veterans Day Events

Bluffton American Legion Post 205 is holding its Annual Veterans’ Day Parade on November 11, starting at 10 a.m. in Old Town Bluffton. Everyone, whether you’re in a group or just looking to march solo, is invited to join in and show your gratitude to veterans from all backgrounds. Sounds like a good time, right? A Heartfelt Gathering with Food

Mark your calendars for November 15 — that’s when there will be a delightful Lowcountry Boil for veterans at Sergeant Jasper Park in Hardeeville. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., all veterans and their dependents are invited, regardless of military status. This is a lovely opportunity to enjoy some great food and connect with fellow service members!

Mosaic Workshop Fun

So, you’re feeling crafty? The Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage is hosting a Lowcountry Glass Mosaic Workshop on November 16 at 10 a.m. You’ll learn how to create a beautiful suncatcher, all while mastering the art of cutting and grouting glass. But hurry—these workshops fill up fast! Head to the center’s website to secure your spot!

Thanksgiving Meal Kits

Now, if you know anyone in need this holiday season, the Lowcountry Food Pantry will be distributing Thanksgiving meal kits and fresh turkeys to the first 250 families on November 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The distribution takes place at Hardeeville City Hall. It’s first-come, first-served, so make sure to arrive early!

Another Christmas Parade on the Horizon!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the 2024 Hardeeville Christmas Parade and Merry on Main event will take place on December 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 411 Main Street. Get ready to enjoy floats, live performances, and of course, a chance to wave at Santa Claus as he rides through the merry parade!
