Free Naloxone and Training to be Offered at Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department Locations in Bluffton and Beaufort

Beaufort, SC- The Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department will be providing free Naloxone training sessions on May 1, 2024. The event will be held at their locations in Bluffton and Beaufort from 9 am to 4 pm.

Objective of the Training

The key aim of this initiative is to contribute towards opioid poisoning awareness. Participants will enrich their understanding of how to identify the signs of opioid poisoning and extend assistance to those exposed to opioid toxification or illicit contamination. The event will be open to anyone interested, and appointment scheduling prior to the event will not be necessary.
