In Beaufort, South Carolina, a new chapter in retail and shopping evolution is set to unfold as TJ Maxx and HomeGoods, the first two tenants at the new Beaufort Station Shopping Center, announced their grand opening on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The new shopping center, located on the corner of Robert Smalls Parkway and Paris Island Gateway, is a project by The Morgan Companies.
The 209,250 square foot shopping center will be a bustling hub for retailers, establishing significant presence by hosting nine major tenants. The distinguished list includes renowned chains such as Aldi Grocery Stores, PetSmart, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, Hobby Lobby, Ross Dress for Less, Ulta Beauty, and Old Navy. The center’s appeal extends beyond shopping, offering gastronomic delights from residents like Chicken Salad Chick, Panda Express, and Surchero’s Fresh Mex, among others.
TJ Maxx and HomeGoods will throw open their doors on May 30th, leading the cavalcade of store openings for other retailers. Other businesses such as Hobby Lobby, Five Below, Old Navy, Ross Dress For Less, Ulta Beauty, Rack Room Shoes and Pet Smart are set to follow suit in the months of June, July and August.
While no firm opening date has been released for businesses such as Mattress Firm, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, and Parker’s Kitchen, anticipation remains high. The construction and completion schedule for an ALDI grocery store in Beaufort also remains under wraps.
Despite the incomplete tenant roster, retail spaces with 3,000 square feet or less are already available for businesses looking to become part of the rapidly growing Beaufort community.
“Beaufort is a beautiful community, and growing, but underserved in retail,” stated Jeff Surrency, executive vice president of development at The Morgan Companies. The unveiling of Beaufort Station seems to be a promising step in the right direction, bringing high-quality retail facilities and bolstering the local economy.
Trey Morgan, President of The Morgan Companies, echoed similar sentiments, “We continue to attract high quality tenants for this project, and we couldn’t be more excited. This is not only a testament to great real estate, but a growing, vibrant community as well.”
Upon completion, the Beaufort Station Shopping Center, boasting a total of 18 tenants, is set to expand the retail and dining options for the residents of Beaufort, providing diverse choices and the convenience of local shopping. This development will also save locals the drive to Bluffton to visit some of their favorite stores.
Stay tuned, as this new shopping center is ready to transform the face of retail in Beaufort, starting from Thursday, May 30, 2024, with the opening of the very first tenants, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. Take a leap into the fresh retail revolution at the Beaufort Station Shopping Center!
