With its proceeds directly supporting CAPA’s vital programs, the event also marked the 40th anniversary of CAPA’s Open Arms Children’s Home, which has served over 2,500 children since 1985.
Beaufort, SC – The annual event “Dancing with Our Stars,” hosted by the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) in partnership with the Exchange Club of Beaufort, took place on March 14 and 15, 2025, raising $258,814 to support CAPA’s vital programs.
Presented by Hilton Head Cadillac, the event featured local stars paired with professional dance instructors who showcased their choreographed performances.

CAPA Executive Director Christina Wilson expressed her gratitude for the community’s support, highlighting the significant impact of the funds raised on the services provided to children and families in the Lowcountry.
The event coincided with the 40th anniversary of CAPA’s Open Arms Children’s Home, which has operated since 1985, serving over 2,543 children.
