Celebrating Savannah’s Inspirational Women: Join the 2025 Women Who Rule Luncheon!

Exciting News for Savannah: Celebrating Women Who Make a Difference!

Hey there, Savannah residents! Mark your calendars because an uplifting event is just around the corner! The much-anticipated 2025 Women Who Rule luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., taking place at the Savannah Convention Center. This annual gathering, championed by the United Way’s WOMEN UNITED, is all set to honor a remarkable leader in our community: the incredible Stacy Jennings!

Who is Stacy Jennings, You Ask?

Stacy Jennings, the esteemed Executive Director of Communications for the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education, is not just a face you see around town; she’s a powerhouse of positive change! With a rich history of community involvement since moving to Savannah back in 1985, Stacy wears multiple hats. From her earlier role as the Director of Marketing at the Savannah Morning News to her ongoing commitment to various local organizations, she has a track record that speaks volumes. Her BA in English from the prestigious Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University set the stage for a life dedicated to words and community service.

What’s the Big Deal About the Event?

This year, the event will see Stacy lauded as the 2025 Woman of the Year for her deep-rooted support of the United Way of the Coastal Empire. For over 33 years, she has served various roles within the organization, from the Board of Directors to the Marketing Committee and beyond. Clearly, Stacy is not just about the accolades; she’s about action! She’s helped drive initiatives that promote better transportation solutions for women and caregivers across our community.

The Heart of the Matter: Supporting Community Transportation

One major highlight of this year’s luncheon is its primary goal: raising essential funds for the Women United Transportation Fund. This vital initiative provides everything from gas cards to bus passes, ensuring women and caregivers can access reliable transportation when they need it most. In essence, it’s about breaking down barriers and opening doors—what a fantastic cause!

A Panel of Powerful Women!

But wait, there’s more! This year’s event will also feature a panel of extraordinary female leaders who will share their journeys and insights. While the panelists are yet to be announced, we can already feel the buzz of excitement building around the event. It promises to be a day filled with inspiration, making it a must-attend for anyone looking to connect with like-minded individuals.

Get Ready to Join In!

As anticipated, event tables and tickets will go on sale in January 2025. Keep an eye out for more details, because this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Celebrate amazing women, support a noble cause, and enjoy a delightful luncheon in the company of fellow changemakers.
