On the other hand, the developer, Dolnik Properties, is set to invest over $7 million into the project. Once the first building is finished, it will be owned by the town, with the Don Ryan Center for Innovation managing its operations and leasing.
Furthermore, the funding for this ambitious project was bolstered by grants totaling $1.13 million, including a $130,000 grant from the Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation and a $1 million grant from the South Carolina Power Team. This coalition promotes job growth and economic development across the state, further enhancing the project’s credibility and potential impact.
