Big Savannah Toy Drive Launches to Spread Holiday Joy to Local Children

Big Savannah Toy Drive Kicks Off for Another Heartwarming Year

Savannah is buzzing with excitement as the 4th Annual Big Savannah Toy Drive is officially underway! This special initiative aims to spread a little holiday cheer to children in need, and organizers are reaching out to the community for support. If you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, this is your opportunity!

Join the Effort to Bring Joy to Local Children

The Big Savannah Toy Drive is proudly accepting gift donations that will be distributed to children served by the Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC). The drive encourages community members to dig into their hearts and pockets, and contribute new, unwrapped gifts—think toys, stocking stuffers, games, gift cards, or even craft supplies that could bring a spark of joy to a child’s holiday season.

But don’t wait too long! The deadline for donations is Thursday, December 12. Rose Grant-Wiseman, the executive director of CCAC, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the organization: “We love to share special holiday memories with the children and families we serve, and the Big Savannah Toy Drive is a big part of that each year.

Understanding the Heart Behind the Cause

Since its establishment in 1992, the Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center has been dedicated to supporting local children who have faced abuse, helping them heal and rebuild their lives. This toy drive is a crucial part of their mission, creating a magical experience for kids who have endured a tough year. “It means so much to our organization to have such a supportive community behind us as we work to make this season a little brighter for these children and their loved ones.” Rose continued, driving home the importance of community involvement.

It’s a heartwarming moment that highlights the generosity of Savannah residents and their willingness to support those in need, especially during this festive season.
