This past Friday, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Charleston issued a frost advisory for our area, and it includes some other nearby towns such as< b> Hilton Head, Townsend, Edisto Beach, Savannah, Pooler, and Garden City. If you were thinking about leaving your delicate outdoor plants unprotected, you might want to reconsider! Temperatures could plunge down to a nippy 33 degrees between the hours of 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday. Yep, that means frost could form overnight, putting your precious flowers and veggie patches at risk.
