This development is expected to more than double the number of specialists at the medical facility, thereby increasing the capacity to treat a larger number of patients.
Starting from April 1, Dr. Edward Blocker and physician assistants Sarah Blau and Paul Schaefer are set to join the current team of therapeutic practitioners comprising of Drs. Kevin Jones and Vandit Sardana at the Okatie Orthopaedic Specialists office situated at Okatie Medical Pavillion at Okatie Boulevard.
All three professionals come with years of experienced garnered at Beaufort Memorial. His area of expertise includes hip and knee replacements.
Joining him is Sarah Blau, a board-certified physician assistant who has been a part of the Beaufort Memorial family since 2020. Also joining the team is Paul Schaefer, a board-certified physician assistant who has been part of the Beaufort Memorial Orthopaedic Specialists since 2016.
