The Beaufort Film Society (BFS) is inviting its members on board early with an early-bird sale of tickets to the upcoming 2025 Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF). Members can purchase the All-Events tickets for just $235, a generous 20% off the regular price of $299, and those currently not part of the BFS can also avail this discount by becoming a member when purchasing their tickets. The annual membership fee is a minimum of $50.
The 19th edition of the Beaufort International Film Festival will be held from Feb. 18 through Feb. 23, 2025, at the USC Beaufort, Center for the Arts, located at 805 Carteret Street, Beaufort. This offer, exclusively for members, is a testament to BFS’s commitment to offering the best to their community. Tickets can be purchased at Beaufort Film Society website.
The 2024 BIFF, attracting thousands of attendees from various countries, affirmed Beaufort County’s reputation as a thriving center for the film industry. By June 2024, BIFF earned a commendable ranking among the Top 100 Best Reviewed Film Festivals by FilmFreeway, a testament to its growing renown and success both locally and internationally.
The film festival is set to kick-off on Tuesday, Feb. 18, with the Opening Ceremony, accessible only to All-Events ticket holders. The four-day (Feb.19 to 22) film screenings will be held at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, Center for the Arts.
Various awards are anticipated, presenting in multiple categories like Feature Film, Documentary — Short and Feature Length, Animation, Short Films, Student Films, Screenplays, Best Musical Score, Best Ensemble Cast, and others. This also includes categories such as Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, and popular audience-voted awards — Audience Choice and Best Comedy.
Separately, the festival will also feature its Duty and Honor Category, an initiative to honor the service and sacrifices of U.S Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, and other first responders and their families.
The grand finale will comprise a Pre-Awards Champagne Reception and the Awards Ceremony and will be held, exclusively for All-Events ticket holders, at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23 at the USCB Center for the Arts.
This festival, hailed as the ‘best little film festival in the southeast’, guarantees a feast for film enthusiasts and offers a remarkable opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the creativity and diversity inherent in film-making.
