Celebration of Educators of the Year at TCL in Beaufort

The Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) in Beaufort has recognized three of its outstanding employees as ‘Educators of the Year’ by the South Carolina Technical Education Association. Sara Cain was named Support Staff of the Year, Sasha Bishop received the Administrator of the Year Award, and Kelli Boniecki was honored as Faculty of the Year. Each recipient received a certificate and a $100 cash award during a ceremony at the SCTEA’s annual conference in February.

Beaufort Welcomes Educators of the Year from TCL

The Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) in Beaufort has announced that three of its employees have been honored by the South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) as “Educators of the Year.”

Award Recipients

  • Sara Cain: Support Staff of the Year
  • Sasha Bishop: Administrator of the Year
  • Kelli Boniecki: Faculty of the Year

Awards Ceremony

The awards were presented during SCTEA’s annual conference held in February. Each recipient received a certificate along with a cash award of $100.

In addition, honorees will enjoy reserved parking spaces on campus for the 2025 calendar year.
