A Move to Keep Beaufort County Connected

This innovative initiative by BCTV facilitates community connections in Beaufort County during this transition period while the usual in-person communal celebrations remain untenable. This move ensures that family, friends, and community members can share the joy of these important milestones with the students—from any location. The students, for whose benefit and reward these ceremonies are held, can be recognized and celebrated for their achievements despite the constraints imposed by ongoing public health safety measures.

As we leave a challenging academic year behind and look forward to new beginnings, the act of witnessing these graduation ceremonies—even by means of virtual broadcast—offers a significant sense of normalization and continuity within our community.
