Beaufort County Ready for Normal Operations After Recent Storm

Hey there, Beaufort County! After a whirlwind of weather that had everyone on their toes, we’ve got some good news to share. Starting Monday, September 30, all Beaufort County operations will be back to their regular business hours. It’s a relief for many residents who have been waiting for things to return to normal amidst the stormy disruptions.

Storm Debris Disposal Information

If you’ve been cleaning up after the recent storms, you’ll be glad to know that County Convenience Centers are currently open and ready to help! Residents are able to dispose of their storm debris without the worry of strict limits for the next few days. While usually you’d need a decal to drop off items, the limit of three visits per week has been lifted. This exception will be in effect until Tuesday, October 1. This is great news if you’ve got a lot of debris to clean up from your yard!

Just a quick reminder: these convenience centers are meant for **residential trash and debris only**. So, make sure you’re bringing your own things and not commercial waste.
