Three Suspects in Custody for Involvement in Beaufort County Murder

In a recent incident, three suspects have been taken into custody pertaining to a shooting and resultant murder in Beaufort County, South Carolina.

The Incident

On Wednesday, August 14, around 9:40 p.m., local law enforcement officers responded to reports of gunshots at Cross Creek Apartments located at 325 Ambrose Run. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grisly scene with a body bearing multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as 33-year-old Marquise Tyrell Green, died at the site due to the fatal injuries inflicted upon him.

The Investigation

In the aftermath of the crime, detectives from the Beaufort County Police Department launched a comprehensive investigation that led to the identification and subsequent arrest of three suspects allegedly involved in the murder.

The Suspects and the Charges

The three individuals taken into custody were 24-year-old Jafari Brown, 26-year-old Stardaisha Richardson, and 31-year-old Emily Cole. They face serious criminal charges linked to the murder.

Brown, the youngest among the three, faces multiple charges which include murder, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person previously convicted of certain crimes, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

On the other hand, Richardson and Cole, are charged with being accessories after the fact of a Felony A, B, C, or murder.
