Beaufort Business Powerhouse Mandy Parsons Joins Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry as New President & CEO

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people, has recently welcomed Mandy Parsons on board as their new Chief Executive Officer and President. Boasting a career span of 22 years in the nonprofit sector, Parsons brings a wealth of experience and acumen to her new role.
A Vision for Growth and Excellence
Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, Parsons served various key roles including interim CEO, acting COO, and acting CFO at United Way of the Coastal Empire. Her tenure there was distinguished by strategic leadership, streamlining operational processes, and diversification of revenue streams, which significantly bolstered the organization’s financial performance and operational efficiency.
As a highly respected figure in the nonprofit sector, Parsons is celebrated for her ability to inspire organizational growth, enhance cultures, and trigger transformative changes. Her compassionate and collaborative management style, coupled with profound relationship-building skills, has often helped align organizational missions with community aspirations.

She has recently joined the Savannah Book Festival board, which perfectly complements her favorite hobby – reading. Apart from being an avid reader, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, watching Kentucky basketball, and outdoors with her dog.
