This win not only boosts the team’s record to an impressive 20-8, but also uplifts their Peach Belt Conference tally to 12-6.

As they put the finishing touches on their regular season, the Jaguars made a strong case for their prowess on the court. With the recent win, USC Beaufort’s record unfortunately dipped to 6-20, and they were unable to gain traction in league play, ending at 4-14.

Game Highlights

The game saw an exciting journey with Augusta starting a bit slowly. But as the second quarter rolled around, the team found their rhythm, outscoring the home team 17-8 to take a 31-26 lead at halftime. It wasn’t just about offense – Augusta’s defense was rock-solid, limiting USC Beaufort to only 18 points in the second half!

Augusta’s success can be attributed to several standout performances from their players. Leading the charge was Quinasia Abercrombie, who netted 15 points and grabbed five rebounds. Meanwhile, Je’Bria Fullwood proved to be a force on both ends of the court, showcasing her skills with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds. Amari Jackson also joined the scoring efforts, adding 10 points and snagging six rebounds for the team. And let’s not forget about bench player Sierra Burns, who contributed with five points to help seal the deal!
