Over a hundred enthusiastic residents of Beaufort County came together at the county’s enlightening presentation on composting. The occasion was not just about information but also an opportunity for participants to receive free composting bins as a gift, courtesy of a grant provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Beaufort County had the privilege to secure an impressive grant of over 270,000 dollars from the USDA, intended to support the establishment of a program specifically focused on composting.
