For 22 years, the old bakery sat on Bull Street, filling the air with the warm, comforting aroma of baked goods. This beloved institution closed its doors for the last time on February 14, marking the end of a culinary era. Now, FARM has the opportunity to reimagine the site, breathing new life into the historic building. Unforeseen Delays in Tomochichi Courthouse Renovations

In other local news, the renovation of the Tomochichi Courthouse in downtown Savannah is experiencing delays due to a partial floor collapse last April. US General Services Administration (GSA), overseeing the project, announced its completion would likely be postponed to at least summer 2026. Safety remains a top priority, both for the construction workers and the surrounding community, according to the GSA. Once completed, the historic building will modernize, improving its operational efficiency, security, and accessibility.

Forsyth Park Condo Complex Set for Renovation

Meanwhile, a revamp is also on the agenda for the historic condominium building at 106 West Gwinnett St., near Forsyth Park. Dating back to the 1920s, the six-story building initially functioned as the Forsyth Apartment Hotel, offering fully furnished rooms for the local community. The renovations aim to rectify ongoing water infiltration issues and ensure the historic building meets modern living standards.
