The Parade in Beaufort

Starting at 10 a.m., the parade will kick off from the Beaufort National Cemetery, proceeding through a vibrant route that includes Adventure Street, Boundary, Carteret, Bay, and Bladen streets. With the city streets adorned with decorations and the air filled with excitement, families can expect a lively atmosphere as they gather to witness the colorful floats, local organizations, and enthusiastic marchers.

Traffic Advisory

As always, parade day can bring some traffic headaches, so it is wise to stay informed. A traffic advisory is in place, noting potential delays and road closures throughout Beaufort County due to both parade and memorial events planned for the day. Honors Across the County

Since January 20 is a federal holiday, many administrative offices, banks, and mail centers throughout Beaufort County will be closed. Additionally, the Beaufort County Convenience Center will temporarily close on January 20 and will reopen the following day at 7:30 a.m.
